This video shows a New Holland T8.360 tractor pulling a Kinze 3800 24-row 30” planter.  The fuel being used at a rate of 5.4 gal/hr. translates to .15 gal/acre or about $0.60 per acre at $4.00 diesel.  This rate is consistent with the measured fuel used by this tractor during the 2011 planting season in multiple planting conditions. The Cornrower video shows a test model operating in corn that is standing fairly well but which is in a field blanketed with snow.  The purpose of the test was to see how well the Cornrower would handle brittle stalks and whether the unit would have issues with snow in transporting the stover to a windrow.  As you will see in the video, the machine worked well and made clean windrows, free of snow or any dirt and rocks.  No other system provides this unique ability to allow harvesting of excellent stover on snow.  Cornrower is a trademarked name for the unit which is going into limited production for season 2011.  It is protected by patent number 7856800.  Other patents are pending.

New Holland Rochester has just been appointed as a dealer for Mil-stak Bale Wagons for the Northern Indiana area.  The images shown here are from our delivery and start up of the first unit.  It was purchased by Simpson Straw of Sharpsville, IN.  The bale wagon is robust and was able to handle the bales shown here even though the hay was moist and the bales weighed about 1700 lbs. each.

More information is available at www.milstak.com or by contacting us at the dealership.

The video shown here was taken in Oct. of 2010 at a farm near Rochester , IN.   The harvest rate was about 3.5 mph in irrigated corn that had grain moisture in the very low 20% range but had stalk moisture in the high 40% range.  The video shows a prototype Cornrower windrowing the stover and a tractor and baler making round bales from the stover right behind the combine.  The stover bales were wrapped with a tube wrapper and quality of the material remained excellent.  The Cornrower provides for inexpensive stover harvest of the highest quality.  For more information on the Cornrower, contact us at the dealership.  Cornrower is a trademarked name for this machine.  Cornrower design is protected by US patent 7856800, other patents are pending.

The T8 tractor from New Holland offers the longest wheelbase in the industry for a high-horsepower tractor.  The iconic Super Steer front axle that revolutionized tractor design is not used on the new T8 Tier IV tractors.  A new ‘Saddle Suspension’ front axle and long wheelbase provide unmatched power-to-ground performance along with unexcelled ride.  While the Saddle Suspension axle provides more vertical movement than any other such front axle, it also allows the tractor to have a tighter turning diameter than the T8000 tractors with Super Steer non-suspended front axles as well as competitive tractors such as the Deere 8R series of tractors.  This raw video shows clearly how the tractor turning diameters compare.  For more information on T8 features, such as the Suspended Cab option, contact us at the dealership.
